The Safety Nest · Home Alone

Privacy Policy

Effective July 6, 2026 · Applies to The Safety Nest: Home Alone iOS app

The short version: no personal data is collected or transmitted. Everything stays on your device. Purchases are processed anonymously by Apple and RevenueCat.

What the app stores, and where

The Safety Nest: Home Alone keeps everything on your device:

None of this ever leaves the device. There is no server, no account, and no cloud copy. The app does not record which answers a child picks, not even locally; it only records that a mission was completed.

What the app does not do

Purchases

The optional membership is an auto-renewable subscription billed by Apple through your Apple ID. To recognize a valid membership, the app uses RevenueCat, which processes the purchase receipt under a randomly generated anonymous identifier. No name, email, child information, or device advertising identifier is attached to it. You can read RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on their receipt processing.

Children's privacy

The app is made for kids ages 9 to 12 and is designed to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) the simplest way possible: it collects no personal information from anyone, children included. Purchases sit behind a parental gate and are intended for adults.

Deleting your data

Because everything lives on your device, deletion is fully in your hands: use "Reset all progress" in the parent area, or delete the app. There is nothing held anywhere else to ask us to delete.

Changes to this policy

If the app's privacy practices ever change, this page will be updated first and the effective date revised. The commitment to no personal data collection is the foundation of the product and will not change.
